  I "hated it" and didn't even make it past the initial phone call! I called this office today to talk someone about making an appointment. The woman who answered the phone was less than thrilled to speak with me, almost as if I was bothering her. She didn't smile when she answered and most certainly didn't thank me for calling "Associates in Dermatology". I let her know that I was a new patient looking to make an appointment and her response was "Our first available appointment is in October." I asked if there was anything earlier with a Physician's Assistant and her answer was flat out, "No". I also asked if she could refer me to another dermatologist in the area that might have some availability and again the answer was, "No". After hanging up with her I called another dermatologist's office, Dr. Amos and spoke with a very nice woman who was happy to look at the cancellations over the next few weeks at a neighboring office since the one closest to me didn't have availability. She even offered to make me appointment with the PA if the doctor wasn't available. Needless to say, my experience with Dr. Amos' office was much more pleasant and I'm looking forward to being welcomed as a new patient at his practice. I did call back to Associates in Dermatology hoping to catch the miserable woman's name so I could post it in this review and spoke with much happier, pleasant woman named Linda who couldn't apologize enough for the person I originally spoke to. She even offered to check their Bloomfield office for appointments since the Wexford location is in fact booked solid. If only I had spoke with Linda the first time!
