  Horrible, I got insurance, car and homeowner, their price was close to state farm. Then after I signed up their customer service stunk. Paper work errors ect. Then the renewal came up, homeowners went up and car insurance really went up, girl who I thought was an agent I bought from turned out to be sales associate and pawned me off to an agent who then pawned me off to someone else. Needless to say I shopped around and cut my car insurance in half with geico, yes in half!!! .if I could give them zero stars I would, boo, stay away

  It was an ordinary Wednesday at work and my employer had scheduled a Liberty Mutual rep to come in and convince us that their insurance was way better than our current carriers, and that as current employees of the company, there would be a "group discount." And there was food! So I figure why not get some free eats and hear what they had to say. That's when I met Harvey Flowers, a guy whose sense of humor and personality alone could win you over. Harvey didn't immediately bombard me with costs and coverage statistics, of which I was very appreciative of while noshing away on a sandwich. He asked questions to get to know me, but were probably more motivated by insurance selling. Either way, never once in our conversation then (or later ones) did I feel pressured to switch my insurance. When the time came to get on the computer and get those numbers, I felt as if I had known Harvey for years! I finish fooding and we finally get to the quoting and selling part of the visit. Murphy's Law kicked in and the Liberty Mutual server wouldn't respond. So getting an instant quote was out of the question. I gave Harvey some info and he said he would email me with a quote in a few days. Sure enough, 2 days later I had a quote in my inbox. At this point I was already shopping around for another insurance carrier with the specific intent of combining my home and auto policies. After comparing my current coverage with the other two quotes I had, I made the decision to switch to Liberty Mutual. Signing up was the easy part as the quote beat all others in price and amount of coverage. My homeowner's insurance went down almost $200/year, and for auto I was getting way more coverage and those groovy extras like roadside assist, new car replacement, accident forgiveness, etc for around the same price. I also enrolled in a program that monitors your driving for a few months and there was a discount just for signing up with the potential to earn up to a 30% discount. (I doubt I'll see the full 30% discount, so I'm shooting for 10-15%!) I signed up in April with the policy taking effect May 1. Fast forward to July. I have had to contact Harvey quite a few times since May 1 with various problems and requests for paperwork that come along with changing insurance carriers. EVERY SINGLE TIME Harvey has responded in a timely manner and has helped me resolve every issue! I cannot recommend Liberty Mutual and Harvey Flowers enough! I believe he is currently licensed in PA and working on some other surrounding states. You'd have to check their website to be sure. There are other agents at his office who are licensed in Ohio and West Virginia, and if they are even half as awesome as Harvey, switching will not be a regrettable decision.

  I switched a year ago. All was great until I got my new premiums. My auto insurance went up $70 per month. When I called customer service I was told the discounts I was given a year ago no longer exist and my agent was no longer with the company.

  Horrible company to deal with. (Rita)Ofcourse no insurance wants to pay out but after noone would help for obvious reasons I had to go elsewhere. Save your time, money, and frustration. This place is a Joke. Id rather be uninsured than go with this Company.
